While little is known about the enigmatic Maestro, it is rumored that the man behind the Maestro's alias ("Johnny Fontaine") is Andrew Spencer Goldman.  What we do know is this: Maestro Echoplex came out of Washington DC just after the turn of the millenium.  He played some well-regarded solo shows in the DC-metro area before releasing his only artifact, the critically acclaimed Last Night I Saw God on the Dance Floor EP, which the BBC New Music Room picked as its #2 record of 2001.  Maestro Echoplex began performing with TJ Lipple (drums) and John Berry (bass), and then vanished...
